I was really saddened at the news that ice cream king Aldo Nardini passed away aged 85 yesterday.
My Grandfather Armando Pignatelli worked for his father in the Largs cafe back in the 1930’s selling ice cream. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
It seemed fitting that we were there only a few short days previous making one of our (somewhat regular) removal jaunts to Millport. We did a cool short video documenting the trip. Check it out from our Facebook post below (click on the date).
