House Removals in Glasgow

Moves 4 U Removals has moved Glasgow households since 2006. Armando Ross owns the business and is on every job. Your furniture is wrapped and protected before it leaves the room, and our insurance certificates are published on this site so you can read them before you book.

From a first flat to a four bedroom family home, every move is surveyed, planned and quoted in writing before the day.

What a House Move With Us Includes

A survey at the property, so the quote is based on what is actually there
Sofas bagged, furniture blanket wrapped then cling wrapped
Cardboard down on floors, door frames and edges protected
Furniture dismantled and reassembled
Appliances disconnected and reconnected
A written quote with nothing added afterwards

We move tenement flats, new builds, multi-storey flats and detached houses across the whole of Glasgow. The Southside is our base: Newlands, Darnley, Giffnock, Clarkston, Newton Mearns and Thorntonhall.

Glasgow Knowledge That Saves Hours On The Day

Tenement stairwells with a turn in them, permit zones, parking suspensions and streets a large van cannot get down. We check all of it at the survey and plan around it, so it is dealt with before moving day rather than discovered on it.

At the survey we also walk the property with you and note any existing damage in writing. That means there is no argument later about what was already there, and anything that happens on our watch is ours to put right.

I recommend using this company knowing they’re trustworthy, hardworking, down to earth men that were so polite , kind & just the men for the job ! Helping us safely into our new property after a good few hours work packing up the van & our old home. Then helping us at our new home.
I’m blown away with their work !

The communication & how helpful they are is unmatched . Amazing !!
Aldo & men are salt of the earth men that made myself & daughter feel safe & at ease with such a stressful time with my newborn granddaughter along for the adventure.

Thank you Aldo & co 🙏

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Moves 4 U recently moved us home. Armando and his team were absolutely amazing, arrived sharp, they took great care with loading and unloading our stuff in and out of the van, they made sure my stuff was all properly covered and protected and strapped in carefully, they put all our furniture and boxes into all the correct rooms in our new home, which helped so much with the unpacking. They made our move so easy and stress free for us, could not fault anything at all. Will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Aldo and his team have always been excellent in their service. We have used them several times over a period of 10 years and wouldn’t go to anyone else. They are always on time, take care with the moving items and are very reasonably priced.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Armando and his team did a great job for us. It was a big move to two addresses, one of them on the third floor. Everything went smoothly and on time. The team were really friendly and chatty and nothing was a problem for them. It looked like hard work to me. They certainly grafted.
So a big thanks to Armando and all in his team.
A high recommendation from us and yes a good price too.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys were amazing! Communication on lead up to one of the most stressful days you’ll have was ideal! Andy and team worked so so hard all day, with the other team helping out later in the day when there was a delay with keys to ensure we were moved in ok. Nothing was a bother for them even after putting in a hard days graft. Kept both my husband and I calm all day. Will be forever grateful to Moves 4 U, highly recommend! Thank you guys

Packing & Storage

If you want help preparing:

Full packing service, or a part pack for the awkward items such as glassware, mirrors and artwork
Packing materials supplied if you would rather pack yourself
Containerised storage at our sites in Glasgow, Cumbernauld and Leith, with insurance included as standard

Storage is the answer when dates do not line up. We collect, store and deliver when you get the keys.

How Much Do House Removals In Glasgow Cost?

The price comes down to five things: the size of the property, how much you are moving, the access at both ends, the distance, and whether you want packing included. Access is the one people underestimate. A third floor flat with a turn in the stairwell takes considerably longer than a ground floor house holding the same amount.

We do not give prices over the phone. We come out, survey the job and send you a written quote, usually within one working day. Surveys and quotes are free and carry no obligation.
